MXtreme is a Mail Firewall appliance that is designed to be deployed between internal mail servers and the Internet. Delivered as a dedicated appliance, MXtreme supports standard mail protocols for processing email messages. MXtreme typically takes 15-20 minutes to implement and requires no specialist knowledge. Software updates are loaded using the SecurityConnection, a unique feature that connects your MXtreme appliance directly to BorderWare's secure servers. The MX-200 is a set-top or mini-1U format system, comes with a single disk drive and two fast Ethernet interfaces, and will comfortably support the requirements of small/medium-sized organizations. With built-in POP3 server and full support for user mailboxes, the MX-200 can also provide a cost-effective and comprehensive alternative to MS Exchange, Lotus Notes etc.

Evaluation systems operate with full functionality for 30 days, and may be converted to Base Appliances, Email Security Bundles or Redundancy Bundles through purchase of an appropriate Conversion License.
