The VPN 3030 Concentrator is a hardware platform designed for mid- to large-sized enterprises with bandwidth requirements from full T1/E1 through fractional T3 (50 Mbps maximum performance). The VPN 3030 platform supports up to (1500) simultaneous sessions at 50Mbps encryption throughput. Encryption is processed is processed internally via hardware. Four expansion slots enable easy upgrading.

At the core of the VPN 3000 Concentrator Series is a distributed-processing architecture featuring user-upgradable SEP modules. These hot-swap modules provide hardware-based encryption and consistent performance over your specific platform's rated capacity, while providing large-scale tunneling support for PPTP, L2TP and IPSec connections.

This uniquely scalable platform's modular design provides superior investment protection, flawless redundancy and a simple upgrade path. The VPN 3000's all-digital design ensures maximum reliability and round-the-clock operation. Cisco's robust instrumentation package provides run-time monitoring and alerts.
