The AccessLinX series of Voice over IP (VoIP) and Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) media gateways provides converged broadband services including voice, video and data over direct, active Ethernet networks.

As an integrated VoIP gateway and a Layer-2 Ethernet switch, the AccessLinX includes two analog voice lines for connecting regular phones and fax machines to VoIP services, three 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports for connecting premises LAN equipment, and a 100 Mbps Ethernet copper or fiber WAN uplink. AccessLinX also features a regular POTS port for an optional Life Line service that automatically routes all voice traffic and E911 calls to a legacy copper line in case of a power failure to the unit.
