The Avocent DSR1021 KVM over IP switch is designed for you to easily troubleshoot, reboot or even power cycle servers or serial devices in branch offices, avoiding the need for costly on-site service calls. The DSR1021 switch includes eight configurable ports for maximum flexibility and supports PS/2 and USB servers. External modem support allows access to remote devices if your network is down. It also features built-in web browser support.

Combined with DSView 3 management software (available separately), SNMP and IPMI support, and a Web browser, the DSR1021 switch provides one-screen, BIOS-level control. Hub and spoke failover capability allows users to authenticate when a primary server is unavailable.
