Single Port KVM-over-IP Switch - KVM-410

Take complete control of a server/workstation remotely over the network or Internet with the D-Link Single Port KVM Switch over IP (KVM-410). Whether you are a block or several thousand miles away from the office, control your PC as if you were there. Network administrators can easily troubleshoot, reboot, and edit pre-boot functions of servers in branch offices, avoiding the cost related with onsite services. You can also locate files on a controlled PC and send e-mails or transfer the files on to an ftp site. Use the KVM-410 while away from the office and never miss another deadline.

Both Windows and Java-based clients are available to control your computer from anywhere on the Internet. The inclusion of a Java-based client ensures that the KVM-410 is platform independent and is able to work with all operating systems that support Java. Furthermore, the KVM-410 supports resolutions up to 1600 x 1200 so you can remotely perform advanced graphic and video applications. Unlike software-based VNC (Virtual Network Computing) applications, the KVM-410 does not utilize your computer’s system resources as it is directly connected to the keyboard, video, and mouse peripherals.

The included management software provides a simple solution to configure, manage, access, and maintain the KVM-410. Create up to 16 user accounts and support up to 4 concurrent logins for hosting web presentations and meetings. The KVM-410 provides three levels of encrypted access for administrators, users, or viewers.
