The Nokia IP40 Satellite Unlimited VPN gateway with integrated firewall is ideal for growing offices and enterprises, enabling site-to-site or client remote access scenarios. The Nokia IP40 Satellite Unlimited
supports an unlimited number of nodes for firewall and 10 tunnels for VPN.

Nokia IP40 is the mobile connectivity and perimeter security solution for small offices that are pre-licensed with market-leading software for easy, out-of-the-box deployment. Nokia IP40 is built with Nokia's time-honored quality for high reliability with no moving parts and ease-of-maintenance including automatic upgrades to provide robust and dependable service for years to come.

The appliance combines the market-leading Check Point software on a purpose-built and Nokia-designed hardware platform. It is well-suited for customers who demand complete network reliability and firewall security with features such as Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) as well as multiple VPN connection options offering excellent performance.

In addition to the LAN port, the Nokia IP40 has an Ethernet port to let you secure a wireless LAN or other computers on the same appliance without affecting a corporate connection. The Nokia IP40 is also equipped with an AUX serial port for out-of-band management for dial backup remote configuration and troubleshooting.

For multiple sites, Nokia IP40 provides powerful remote and local management capabilities through Nokia Horizon Manager, Check Point’s SmartCenter and SmartLSM, and SofaWare’s Security Management Portal. This allows quick staging and easy installation of additional systems or configuring and upgrading appliances without network downtime. For local management, the console port is available for easy access via a Nokia command-line interface (CLI).
