The Nfinity power system is scalable 4 to 16kVA and designed with N+x parallel redundancy to provide a fault-tolerant network of power protection. Its modular design was devised to provide easy scalability to users as their power demands grow. Configurations can be cost-effectively upgraded without re-investing in a new system or installation.
Nfinity's patent pending frame design houses all of the modular system components, including 4 kVA power modules, battery modules and system control modules. By simply installing additional power or battery modules, you can expand your current system, extend your backup runtime or add redundancy. Hot-swap capability makes it easy to add or replace modules.
The system's fault-tolerant design enables the intelligent power and battery modules to take themselves off-line if there is a problem -- without compromising system integrity. Self-diagnostic capabilities simplify maintenance and troubleshooting. Nfinity also offers redundancy in its unique paired system controls, internal and external bypass, and monitoring options.

AC Input to UPS
Voltage Configuration: 208 VAC nominal, single-phase, 2-wire-plus-ground. The operating voltage range shall be variable based upon output loading percentages as follows:

Frequency: 40 to 70 Hz. Input Current Distortion: 5% THD maximum at full load. Input Power Factor: 0.98 lagging at 100% rated load. Inrush Current: 150% of full load input current maximum for 3 cycles. Surge Protection: Sustains input surges without damage per criteria listed in IEEE C62.41, Category B.
AC Output
Voltage Configuration: 208 / 120 VAC, single-phase, 3-wire-plus-ground. Field configurable to 240 / 120 VAC. Voltage Regulation: + / - 3% steady state. Frequency Regulation: 60 Hz, + / - 0.5%. Frequency Slew Rate: 5.0 Hertz per second maximum. Bypass Frequency Synchronization Range: + / - 5.0 Hertz. Voltage Distortion: 3% total harmonic distortion (THD) maximum into a 100% linear load, 7% THD maximum into a 100% non-linear load with crest factor ratio of 3:1. Load Power Factor Range: 0.5 lagging to 1. Output Power Rating: Rated kVA at: 0.7 lagging power factor. Overload Capability: >100% - 110% indefinitely, 111% -150% for 10 seconds, 151% - 200% for 0.25 seconds, The load shall be transferred to bypass when any of the above conditions are exceeded. >201% for min. 2 cycles, then shut down of UPS. Immediate shutdown into a short circuit. Voltage Transient Response: + / - 7% maximum for any load step up to and including 100% of the UPS rating. Transient Recovery Time: To within 1% of steady state output voltage within 96 milliseconds.
Batteries
Internal Battery: The battery shall consist of gas recombination, valve regulated, lead acid cells. Flame retardant batteries shall be provided, which renders the UPS suitable for installation inside a computer room per requirements of UL Standard 1778.
