The MIL-S3413 Modular Media/Rate Converter has (1) RJ-45 port for 10/100BaseTX UTP connections, and (1) SC port for 100BaseFX multimode fiber connections over distances up to 2km.

Milan/Digi's MIL-S341x Series of blade-style, 2-port modular rate converters are a cost-effective way to interconnect segments of Ethernet and Fast Ethernet networks. These media converters employ a store-and-forward switching architecture to improve network performance by varying media and transfer speeds to segment your network into smaller, connected subnets. As part of Milan's MIL-9100 and 9200 Series Media Conversion Systems, these modules are fully managable and configured in multiple connector options. You can mix and match modules within an 8- or 16-slot chassis for media/rate adaptability when and where you need it.

All MIL-S341x modules support up to 8,192 MAC addresses and per-port auto-negotiation for speed and duplex. DIP switch settings determine auto-negotiation, half/full-duplex settings, and packet size. With supported features including: VLAN tagging; package size throughput; half-duplex back pressure; MDI/MDIX switching, and management capability (when used with the MIL-9100/9200 Systems), the MIL-S341x Series is an ideal solution for converting legacy networks to higher speeds over greater distances.

You'll appreciate this module's robust, metal enclosure. LED indicators for Link, Activity, Full/Half-Duplex and Speed enable easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
