The USB to SATA model is designed for laptops fitted with 2.5" SATA internal hard drives. In the event of a corrupted or failed hard drive, the drive from the ABSplus can be fitted into your laptop for fast disaster recovery.
Upon initial connection, the ABSplus BounceBack Professional software makes a complete backup of all files, applications, and operating system on your laptop to the ABSplus drive. This creates a bootable ABSplus drive, and with a data transfer rate of up to 480 Mbp/s (275MB/minute), the speed is blazing! Each time the unit is plugged in, the ABSplus automatically scans your source drive and copies only those files that have been changed or newly created since the last backup was performed.
