This 100GB hard drive is designed to work in Compaq, Dell, HP, IBM, Toshiba and other popular laptops (800 models in all). This drive features an 8MB buffer, 12ms seek time, 4200rpm spindle speed and a host transfer rate of 100Mbytes/sec. It also can withstand shocks of up to 800G (non-operating) and 190G (operating).
