The beige, SuperServer 7043L-8R, barebone 4U, tower features the Serverworks GC-LE Chipset and supports up to two Intel Xeon processor(s) with 1MB of integrated Advanced Transfer Cache up to 3.2GHz, 533 or 400MHz system bus and up to 16GB DDR266/200 registered ECC SDRAM. On-board devices include an Adaptec AIC-7902 Controller, Dual-Channel Ultra320 SCSI, an Intel 82540EM Gigabit Ethernet controller and a Broadcom 5703 Gigabit Ethernet (both support 10BaseT, 100BaseTX, and 1000BaseT, RJ45 output). The ATI Rage XL SVGA PCI video controller with 8MB of video memory handles graphics. For expansion, there are six PCI slots, seven hard drive bays, three 5.25" external bays, one 5.25" floppy drive and up to four USB ports. It comes with a 600W Triple-redundant AC power supply with PFC. Other features include chassis intrusion detection (through LDCM), chassis intrusion header and Chipkill support.
