Hubbell’s 40U cabinets have been designed to set a new standard for system aesthetics and functionality for data communications applications. These cost-effective cabinets are available in four colors and specifically designed to house datacom equipment and large bundles of cable. With help from industry experts, Hubbell has incorporated features that address the need for vertical cable management, horizontal rear cable management, server and equipment access, and variable depth.
The cabinet's exclusive integrated vertical cable channels with tie-off points help manage cables entering/exiting the cabinet and provides means of bundling cable with nylon ties/velcro. The fully adjustable split 19" rails are separate top and bottom rails that allow for deeper equipment to be mounted fully forward and patch panels further back for patch cable exiting. The modular design creates easy access to equipment via removable side-walls, roof and doors and the powder coated/textured finish is extremely durable. Lift off doors/sides provide easy access to the front and back of equipment - the sides can also be locked. The unit is 30" deep and handles even the largest equipment. Also, it has a full Plexiglas door with a lockable steel frame that lends rigidity to the door while allowing for viewing of the equipment.
