FAStT900 Remote Mirror Activation - 24P7986

This option, available for the FAStT900 Storage Server, provides a license activation key enabling you to maintain a remote mirror copy of a logical volume on another FAStT Storage Server at a disaster recovery site. This feature provides a synchronous copy of your primary data over an extended distance across a Fibre Channel fabric to a secondary site. Remote mirroring can be implemented in both directions between complementary FAStT Storage Servers, primary data mirror from location to a secondary, and data on different logical volumes mirrored from the secondary site back to the primary. The Remote Mirror feature enables you to help protect your critical data from catastrophic loss.
