    The HP SV3000 Replication Appliance (with rack) supports up to 4096 LUNs, up to 256 host HBA's and up to 26 LUN mappings per host HBA. It has 14 available Fibre Channel ports, providing 7 redundant host and storage connects and supports Brocade switches for added connections. It has a performance capacity of 80,000 IOPS and 800MS/s with dual 1.26GHz Pentium III processors per node, 512KB L2 cache per processor, and 1GB PC133 ECC SDRAM per node (two 512MB DIMMs). It features local or remote management via HTML-based GUI with no client software necessary.

    The SV3000 delivers virtualization and Fibre Channel data replication for Windows and UNIX distributed computing environments. With preinstalled software on dual servers, the SV3000 is fully redundant to deliver high performance and enterprise-class data storage functionality. It can connect to multiple heterogeneous hosts and multiple HP storage devices. Additional functions, including Internet Protocol (IP) data replication and point-in-time imaging, are available as optional add-ons. Optional support for additional storage device types is also available. The SV3000 enables greater efficiency and flexibility by allowing all data storage to be managed as a single pool with the ability to allocate, reallocate, or add capacity as needed. Logical unit number (LUN) mapping allows designated hosts to access information on different virtual LUNs for enhanced security.
