The HP StorageWorks 2000sa G2 Modular Smart Array Cluster Solution is an easy to install highly available cluster solution which combines the power and reliability of the ProLiant DL380 G6 server with the high performance and scalability of the MSA2000sa G2 storage system. This combination provides unsurpassed availability to your data. It will support up to 8-node single path or 4-node redundant path clustering, providing reliable failover for increased uptime. With the built-in redundancy of the new ProLiant Servers and HP MSA2000sa G2, the Cluster Solution increases reliability and greatly reduces downtime. This HP Cluster Solution comes with all the hardware components.
The HP StorageWorks 2000sa G2 Modular Smart Array offers the very latest in efficient consolidation, functionality and technology at very affordable prices. The MSA2000sa G2 features a high-performance 3Gb direct attach, Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) connected array. The MSA2000sa G2 brings all the benefits of shared storage to ProLiant customers, while lowering the cost and eliminating the complexity of shared storage in small to medium size deployments or remote offices. The performance and scalability of the MSA2000sa G2 allow customers to grow their storage as demands increase. The cluster solution supports Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2003, Linux and VMware operating systems for standard and clustered configurations.
The HP SC08Ge Host Bus Adapter (HBA) provides customers with the flexibility and speed they have come to expect from HP. The SC08Ge Host Bus Adapter has been designed to provide connection to an HP MSA2000sa. This adapter supports both 3Gb SAS and 1.5Gb SATA devices. Providing up to 2.4GB/s maximum bandwidth, this HBA provides nearly four times the speed of a dual channel U320SCSI adapters. HP SC08Ge Host Bus Adapter has been thoroughly tested and integrated into many of the HP ProLiant servers.
