This management module includes one Ethernet management port, one serial console port, 4-port GbE copper and 4-port GbE SFP for user traffic. The GbE ports support pluggable SFP transceivers. To configure 1:1 management module redundancy, two of the same type of management modules must be installed in the chassis. The loaded software image supports advanced Layer 2 and Base Layer 3 IPv4 services. This module is hardware ready to support IPv6 routing.
