The DGS-1248T blends plug & play simplicity with exceptional performance and feature sets. With forty-eight 10/100/1000BaseT ports and four combo SFP expansion slots, the DGS-1248T is designed to help provide a simple and economical migration path from 10BaseT or 100BaseTX to 1000BaseT Gigabit. With 96Gbps in aggregated bandwidth, the DGS-1248T is the ideal solution as a line aggregator for server farms or bandwidth-starved workgroups requiring basic network management functions for today’s diverse multimedia requirements.

Managing the DGS-1248T has never been easier. Using its built in browser-based management interface, configuring the DGS-1248T takes only minutes. With full color graphic pictures, diagrams and easy to understand navigation menus, configuring the DGS-1248T with the features you require is as easy as surfing the net. The DGS-1248T supports many of today’s most sought after features like: priority queing, 802.1Q VLANs, port trunking, port status monitoring, port mirroring, and many others.

The D-Link 5-port 10/100/1000 Desktop Switch (DGS-2205) provides an excellent solution for expanding your Gigabit network. Gigabit speed is 10 times faster than 100Mbps Fast Ethernet connection, enabling you to save time transferring bandwidth-intensive music, video, photos, graphic, and data files. By sharing the Internet, users can check e-mail, browse the web, chat with friends and family, and play online games using their own computer. To increase the functionality of your network, you can also add other Ethernet-enabled devices such as a print server, Network-Attached Storage (NAS), and Internet camera.
