HP Storage Works 1U SAS Rack Mount Kit - AE459A
The HP StorageWorks Rack-Mount Kit provides a high-density, rack-mountable tape drive enclosure for direct-attach SCSI, USB, and SAS backup and archiving applications. Because this enclosure uses standard internal tape drives, it provides a cost-effective means of mounting tape drives in rack server environments. The enclosure provides you with scalability, allowing you to add drives and migrate to new tape technologies as your capacity and performance needs grow. The HP StorageWorks Rack-Mount Kit is supported by ProLiant, HP Integrity, and AlphaServer platforms.
The 1U Rack-Mount Kit is 5 of 6 RoHS compliant in this SAS interface. It holds up to two half-height internal tape drives. This 1U SAS enclosure can support up to two Ultrium 448 SAS drives.
