The SmartPro 550 USB WatchDog System is an industry exclusive product because it provides the ability to monitor and manage power conditions and ensures that Windows-based operating systems and other critical services are operating within user-defined thresholds. If the Windows service-based application does not meet the defined thresholds, WatchDog will restart the service when lockups occur. The WatchDog application can be used in conjunction with any Tripp Lite UPS System that features WatchDog compatibility and is currently available for Windows NT/2000/XP systems.
