This is an HP Serial Adapter Kit, RJ-45 to DB-9 DCE, Female, 5-pack. It is used with the HP UPS Management Module (available separately) in support of either a single UPS configuration or to provide additional power protection with support for dual redundant UPS configurations for no-single-point-of-failure. The additional serial ports will provide greater power management control and flexible monitoring.
