Working from a remote Internet location, users can activate this camera's pan & tilt movements to scan an area while using its digital zoom to bring an object into close view. This allows a single camera installation to cover a large viewing area. This camera installs easily on a wall or ceiling using the supplied adjustable mounting bracket.

Video can be captured in the MPEG-4 and JPEG formats simultaneously. This allows a user to view live video in the fast MPEG-4 format while recording is taking place in the higher resolution JPEG method. A user can also choose one over the other to suit a network requirement. With the simple click of a mouse, a remote Internet user can activate the camera's motorized pan & tilt function to point the lens in a desired direction. A user can also scroll the mouse to digitally magnify an image up to 10 times. An analog video out port allows the camera to be used as a conventional analog camera for viewing on a regular TV and for recording to a VCR or DVR. During analog operation, the camera auto switches from progressive to interlaced scanning to minimize motion video flicker.
