The Buslink CipherShield 128bit USB High-Speed Encrypted Slim Line Hard Drive requires an encrypted key to be plugged in to access the drive for great security of your data. It uses a NIST Certified DES hardware encryption Algorithm for serious protection. Faster, easier to use, and more secure than software encryption. Operates transparently to the OS so it does not require drivers. The encryption key on removable hardware key can be removed and stored away to prevent unauthorized access.
