The HP 3.6TB MSA2324fc 146GB HA Starter Kit comes with the HP MSA2324fc Dual Controller Modular Smart Array and 25 HP 146GB 10K SAS SFF DP Hard Drives.

The HP StorageWorks 2324fc Dual Controller Modular Smart Array includes a dual controller, a 24-drive bay SFF array head, 8-port 8Gb switch, two 8Gb HBAs, SFPs and cables. It represents the highest end Fibre Channel model of the MSA2000 family, a generation of HP storage arrays specifically designed for entry-level customers and features the very latest in functionality and technology at highly affordable price points.

The MSA2324fc G2 is a 4 Gb Fibre Channel connected 2U storage area network (SAN) or direct connect solution designed for small to medium size departments or remote locations. It is able to simultaneously support enterprise-class SAS drives and archival-class SATA drives. The MSA2324fc is all about the ability to choose the proper configuration to fit individual needs. This dual controller model for the most demanding entry-level situations comes with twenty-five 146GB 10K SAS SFF DP Hard Drives and configurations utilizing the SFF drive chassis and the maximum number of drive enclosures can grow to 29.7 TB of SAS or 11.8 TB of SATA with a total of ninety-nine drives.
