Rack-optimized specifically for the Intel Server Board SE7501WV2, the Intel Server Chassis SR1300 supports a variety of high-density system configurations in a 1U form factor. The Intel SR1300 includes two PCI/PCI-X risers, each accommodating one PCI adapter card (one full-length and one low-profile), two drive bays accepting SCSI hot-swap or ATA (IDE) cold-swap drives (Chassis Backplane required), and a special flexible bay that allows for an additional SCSI hot-swap hard drive or a slim-line CD-ROM/floppy or DVD/floppy drive module. In addition, advanced thermal-monitoring and cooling capabilities, including five high-speed system fans and two power supply fans, consolidated cables, and special ducting and baffling, make the Intel Server Chassis SR1300 an especially reliable platform for harnessing the high performance of dual Intel Xeon processors. It has a 350 watt PFC power supply and chassis intrusion protection and support for Intel Server Management software, including automatic health monitoring, proactive messaging, and post-issue diagnostics.
