The days of needing three different machines to do three separate tasks are long gone. The Brother DCP-8085DN Laser Multi-Function Copier gives you a printer, a copier and a scanner, in one compact design that won't take up valuable office space. It's compatible with both PCs and Macs. It offers a 250-sheet paper capacity, a 50-sheet multipurpose tray, a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and room to expand up to 250 more sheets, so it can complete a job while you work on something else. It even has automatic two-sided printing. For connectivity, you have a choice between the parallel, USB 2.0 and Ethernet interfaces. It comes with 64MB RAM, and the LCD display shows you all the pertinent information.

The printer features a 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution and can print up to 32ppm of letter size paper. It makes up to 32cpm and can reduce/enlarge documents from 25-400 percent. It can also sort multiple copies.

The color scanner features an interpolated resolution of 19200dpi, a maximum optical resolution of 600 x 2400dpi and 48-bit color scans. It comes with OCR software for both PCs and Macs.
