The 4XEM 4X-FD7132 is a true day/night security camera with built-in IR (infra red) illuminators and removable IR-cut filter. The discreet design and sophisticated 3-axis construction provide the flexibility of mounting the dome camera on the wall or ceiling, while the wide-angle, variable focus, auto iris lens offers a wide viewing area, even in areas with an abundance of natural light. This high-performance security camera delivers superb image quality 24 hours a day in day or night environments making it perfect for a wide variety of surveillance requirements. Built-in 802.3af compliant PoE (power over Ethernet) makes installation quick and easy by utilizing a single Ethernet cable.
Under low-light conditions the IR-cut filter is automatically disabled and the built-in IR illuminators activate to offer infra red light up to 50ft for monitoring and recording in complete darkness. The IR-cut filter is utilized in well-lit conditions and is automatically activated to minimize the influence of infra red light on image color.
Enhancing the PoE camera's abilities further, the 4X-FD7132 is equipped with a PIR (Passive Infra Red) sensor, which detects motion causing temperature changes in the infra red range emitted by surrounding objects. This means the built-in motion detection will alert you only to what you need, helping to avoid false alarms. It also features two-way audio support.
Dual streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG simultaneously offers two different resolutions to two different devices. Users can view and record on a PC at 30 fps in VGA resolution and remotely view via a 3GPP device-such as a PDA or cell phone-at another resolution at the same time. The 3GPP support for mobile surveillance allows users to view live video from your Internet-capable PDA or cellular equipped with a 3GPP player.
