The OPTI-6100 OC-12 LR ADM Optical Multiplexer Module, Enhanced (OMM12VLRE) terminates the OC-12 fiber circuit to feed the OPTI-6100 chassis. The OMM12VLRE module converts the optical signal into digital electrical signals for distribution through the backplane wiring to the tributary modules.

The OPTI-6100 OMM12VLRE provides for an OC-12 UPSR ADM uplink and provides an any-to-any integrated cross connect. It utilizes LR optics with SC connectors.
