The Nokia IP380 exceeds small and medium enterprise customer requirements in a one-rack unit (IRU) system with new serviceability features such as a slide out access tray for quick and easy installation of cards or memory without having to unrack a unit. Designed for maximum flexibility, the Nokia IP380 has the connectivity a network needs with four integrated and fully routable Ethernet ports and two option slots supporting either WAN cards or dual port Ethernet cards for up to eight 10/100 ports. The IP380 serves as an excellent platform for either Check Point VPN-1 /FireWall-1 NG, or RealSecure for Nokia. As a firewall and VPN platform, the IP380 reaches speeds of 600Mbps of secured firewall throughput, and encrypts 3DES VPN at almost 90Mbps out of the box or at 130Mbps with the encryption accelerator option. As an intrusion detection platform with RealSecure for Nokia, the IP380 fits the vital 100Mbps line speed level that customers demand. Unlike security offerings that address limited customer security needs, the Nokia IP380 addresses the variety of needs expected from a complete security platform; flexible, scalable, and serviceable as well as fast and secure.
