M2500 Decoder, 3 Input, Serial with Opticon Wand Reader Undecoded - M2500WND-OPV506

The M2500-WND-OPV506 Kit includes: Opticon Wand undecoded (VR 6mil 5pin); M2500 Serial Wedge, Bar Code & Mag Stripe Reader w/o accessories; Power Supply, 9 volt DC Adapter (use w/ M150 and M2500); Product CD; M2500 Reader Setup Menu; Softcom 32, Windows keyboard emulation software 32 bit; Bar Code Symbology Set-up Sheet.

This hand-held LED wand features a rugged stainless steel case and a tapered ruby ball tip. The ruby tip glides smoothly across the label preventing wear on repeatedly read labels. The spring loaded tip withstands chock, pressure and wear, assuring a long operation life. The advanced optics coupled with high speed electronics provide extremely high first read rates even on poorly printed or faded labels.

The Model 2500 bar code and magnetic stripe reader combines features found in a variety of readers into one compact, easy to use system. The reader will work with any asynchronous RS-232 ASCII or PC emulation terminal. Your reader will not become obsolete just because you change terminals or operating systems.

Softcom 32 is a Windows based program which captures data from a PC's serial port and transfers it to the keyboard buffer. This allows you to read data from any RS-232 device into any Windows application program. The PC's keyboard remains fully functional and may be used for normal data entry.
