ISCSI Xtend San Mac, 100-Seat License - INIT-MAC0-100
The Xtend SAN iSCSI Initiator package is software that can be installed on OS X compatible servers, workstations and laptops to enable the iSCSI protocol to be used for direct communication with iSCSI-ready storage devices over an existing Ethernet network.
The iSCSI protocol allows user to network multiple host and storage devices together in a Storage Area Network (SAN) at a fraction of the cost and effort of Fibre Channel.
With an easy-to-use GUI-based installation and configuration utility, set-up and management is simple. Users can take advantage of their existing Ethernet expertise and network infrastructure to create a complete storage solution with the ATTO iPBridge family of products (iSCSI-to-SCSI and iSCSI-to-Fibre Channel converters) or any other native iSCSI target device.
