RS-5100 Fiery X2 RIP (for Stylus Pro 7000) - C850152
Epson's incredible printer server contains an EFI Fiery X2 Processor with an MIPS R5000 CPU at 200MHz, Fiery RipChips control memory and network and printer communications. The server, including its 4.2GB EIDE 3.5" hard disk drive, is commanded by the Fiery X2 control panel.
Adobe PostScript 3 ready, the RS-5100 uses EPSON AcuPhoto Halftoning Technology for true photographic quality output. Its Pantone color separations are completely internal to RIP, meaning no special tables are required by application software. It even comes with full color seperation support and 136 Adobe Type 1 Roman PostScript scaleable fonts. The server also allows you to print files simultaneously while driving the print engine at its maximum rated print engine speed. You can even print to the printer even though there is no engine down time.
The Fiery utilities include ColorWise Pro Tools, for complete ICC and CRD profile management; Fiery Spooler, for Print spooling and job management as well as production tracking and billing; Fiery Downloader, allowing you to dowload various file formats and fonts; and Fiery WebTools, supporting functions like Installer, WebLink and Print Monitor.
