RTX 4-Bay JBOD InifiniBand Drive - RTX400-NJ-0
The RTX 400 series uses trayfree bays making installing drives a breeze. Simply open the drive door and slide the drive in. The JBOD RTX enclosures, such as the SJ, NJ, and SV units, bring back and old familiarity to comping, similar to that of when we used floppy disks. This RTX 400 uses InfiniBand connectivity, which allows for up to 200+ MB/s, when the software is RAIDed. InfiniBand may seem similar to SteelVine at first glance, but InfiniBand does not combine the signals over a standard serial cable. InfiniBand simply has more pins (and thus more wires running through the cable) so that all SATA cables are left in tact. The RTX 400-NJ accepts both SATA 1 and SATA 2 drives. The many RAID options available with RTX give you the power to choose exactly how safe you want your data to be. The RAID options are on a scrolling menu, so it's easy to choose the RAID level you need.
This RTX 400 is the 4-bay InfiniBand RAID subsystem. The unit accepts SATA hard drives.
