Data Express 50 ATA/100 Removable Hard Drive Enclosure (Carrier only - PC White) - 6417-0000-0000

The Data Express 50 (DE50) is a reliable, removable enclosure constructed of steel and plastic. The enclosure was created specifically for 2.5" PATA or SATA 3Gb/s devices and is designed to fit into any 3.5" floppy or 5.25" peripheral bay, including CD-ROM slots. The DE50's rugged construction allows for protection of the drive in the even of physcial trauma. With hot swappability the DE50 provides opertational flexibility, allowing drive carries to be removed while the system is powered up. Cru's "soft start" circuitry assures the data integrity by elimnating in-rush current during spin-up and avoiding power arcing during insertion. This Data Express 50 enclosure supports ATA/100 interfaces and is the enclosure carrier only.
