    The Socket DIMM All-in-One Zero-Channel RAID Card from Supermicro supports SAS, SATA and SCSI modes (interchangeable via jumper settings), uses your current motherboard's SAS / SATA / SCSI I/O host controllers and eliminates the need of a SAS / SATA / SCSI I/O chip on the motherboard. All of that saves on the cost of a regular RAID card, and it also gives you high-speed throughput and scalability.
