TView Gold enables you to create high impact presentations to view on any TV. With the lightweight scan converter and presentation software (sold separately), you can make group presentations from your desktop, PowerBook or PC-compatible laptop. TrueScale image compression provides accurate image display, while the exclusive 2D flicker reduction filter provides unsurpassed flicker-free picture quality and clarity. Five sharpness modes clean up residual smearing that occurs when video lines are averaged, so text is sharp and image resolution is higher. TView Gold supports resolutions up to 1600x1280 (UGA) and 16.7 million colors and works with televisions supporting NTSC and PAL. It also supports SCART (Euroconnector) input. It is Plug-and-Play compatible and features a pass-through mode, so you can display to a TV and your monitor simultaneously. User options include freeze, pan, zoom, compression, screen positioning, independent horizontal and vertical underscan, and filter mode select. A remote control provides 2X zoom and pan control, as well as spotlight, highlight, pointer, and area zoom functions.
The unit comes with a remote control, UniViewer cable, bright indicator lights, and Kensington lock slot. Focus also includes Electronic Marker software for MAC and PC and Video Fonts for the PC. Electronic Marker turns your cursor into a drawing tool, allowing you to make annotations on your computer screen.
