It requires a minimum IOS version 11.1(7a)P. Compatible cables include: CAB-OCTAL-KIT; CAB-25AS-MMOD; CAB-OCTAL-ASYNC; CAB-25AS-FDTE; CAB-OCTAL-FDTE; CAB-ADPTRS-RJ45; and CAB-OCTAL-MODEM
