Software Release Suscription Service is a contracted service offering that provides customers access to future major and minor software releases during the term of the SRS service agreement.
Activated as a standalone service, this SRS contract is available as SRS Service Plus, which included Emergency Recovery (7x24x365) and Non-emergency Technical Support during normal business hours (8x5). SES Service Plus provides access to Nortel's team of highly-trained specialists for your staff or your Nortel Business Partner's staff.
The SRS Service provides access to Nortel's team of highly-trained specialists, the Nortel Global Services Web Portal, and access to the software for many of the Nortel products within your network environment for which you have a SRS service contract.
Short-term access to patches and fixes continues to be included in the initial purchase of the software product and, consequently, is not provided as part of the Nortel SRS Service. Software Upgrade Services are available globally for specific products. Once your Nortel SRS Contract is in place, contact your Nortel Sales Representative or Nortel Authorized Business Partner. Renewing your Nortel SRS contracts is simple. To facilitate rapid renewals, you or your Authorized Nortel Business Partner can receive a renewal reminder approximately 90 days prior to your contract expiration date.
