This HP StorageWorks DAT drive is based on the Digital Data Storage (DDS) format designed for reliable, cost-effective backup. It is the first choice for data protection for many small and medium businesses with low-end and mid-range servers and workstations as well as operating system backup and software loading on mission-critical servers in many large enterprises. This DAT 72 model is a SCSI array module, boasting up to 72GB of compressed data capacity.

This drive offers a complete backup solution including HP's unique One-Button-Disaster-Recovery (OBDR) feature. It also includes a single-server copy of Yosemite Technologies TapeWare XE, an easy-to-use backup application for low-end servers and workstation. HP's unique Library and Tape Tools (L&TT) utilities provide HP StorageWorks DAT customers with a comprehensive suite of tape drive management utilities and HP's extensive testing program ensures that customers benefit from the broadest connectivity and compatibility with HP and third-party servers, operating systems and software in the industry.
