As the amount of data requiring backup increases, the need for precious data center space has become critical. Packing performance and capacity into a cost-effective rack optimized tape backup solution, the Quantum DLT Rack1 provides space for two half-high SCSI tape drives in under 1.75” (1U) of precious rack space.

The DLT Rack1 features the highest density 1U rack data protection when coupled with Quantum Value DLTtape drives. Plus, with two SCSI ports, both drives can be run in parallel, reducing the backup time for multiple server environments, or attach two drives to a single server to deliver exceptional performance.

Installation is as simple as taking the DLT Rack1 out of the box and mounting it into your rack. The tool-less design enables smooth installation of tape drives. The top of the unit is removable, allowing easy access to the drives and components.

This backsoft software will support one server backup and workstation backup.
