The CyberPower 6050 surge protector is an all-purpose electronic surge strip with one built-in RJ-11 port and 1500 joule MOV technology. The RJ-11 port protects phone, fax, modem and DSL equipment. One (1) "transformer-friendly" outlet allows for the connection of a bulky DC transformer like that are found on many popular electronic devices.

EMI/RFI filtering blocks electro-magnetic and radio interference from entering your equipment, and MOV technology insures the protection of all connected electronics and the surge suppressor itself. MOV (Metal Oxide Varistor) technology allows normal current to pass through the device, while diverting any surge/spikes through the ground circuit.
