The DL380 Storage Server is both a appliance and NAS/SAN fusion storage solution that offers ease of installation and management features that reduce overall total cost of ownership (TCO). The DL380 Storage Server is ideal for customers with limited IT resources and need quick, simple, rapidly deployable, flexible storage and who need remote manageability. The DL380 Storage Server uses Microsoft's Windows Storage Server 2003 operating system. It provides excellent storage management, data protection, performance tuning and print services allowing customers to manage their storage efficiently. Plus, it comes with HP Global Services, providing cost-effective support to ensure continuous availability.

the DL380 Storage Server can be deployed as an appliance with its own direct attached storage or as NAS/SAN fusion product to act as a file serving gateway for an HP-based SAN. When used with SCSI or SATA attached solutions, this Storage Server offers the ability to scale to multiple TBs of capacity. The hardware is pre-configured and the OS is pre-installed from the factory allowing you to deploy the system on your network in minutes.
