For professionals in graphic arts and printing, the CG19 offers hardware calibration, accurate color rendition, and an ergonomic, thin bezel design, for a practical alternative to CRT monitors. The CG19 features a 1280 x 1024 native resolution, a 450:1 contrast ratio, 280 cd/m2 of brightness, digital and analog inputs and 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles.

The thin bezel design of this monitor saves space and minimizes the distance between screens in a multi-panel setup. The CG19 has 40 degrees of tilt, 70 degrees of swivel, and a 100-mm height adjustment; all of which offer a wide range of positional adjustments for viewing comfort.

EIZO's ColorNavigator Version 2 Calibration Software comes bundled with ColorEdge models, and offers hardware calibration when used in conjunction with the ColorEdge CX1 calibrator or a GretagMacbeth Eye-One color measurement device. In addition to providing accurate control over color temperature, brightness, and gamma, the new Version 2 generates up to 20 color profiles, and offers post-calibration color correction as well as measurement of the monitor's brightness and color coordinates. To ensure that each ColorEdge monitor produces the most accurate and consistent color gradations possible, EIZO carefully measures and sets every shade of R, G, and B from 0 to 255 on the production line with the monitor's 10-bit Look-Up Table (LUT), to produce a monitor gamma value of 2.2. Should the user prefer a different value, the LUT can be used to calculate for values ranging from 1.8 (standard for the printing industry) up to 2.6.

Fine Contrast provides the ability to fine-tune the image for the type of application being used. Choose from text, picture, movie, custom, sRGB or calibration. Each model contains default settings for image parameters like brightness, color temperature, and saturation. The CG19 is Mac-compliant (with an adapter) and can be removed from its stand and mounted on VESA-compliant arms or stands.
