This Aten Matrix KVM switch provides up to (32) direct computer connections and up to (4) console connections. Its modular design allows for flexible interface combinations, which means you can control any combination of PS/2, USB or Sun computers. The switch also supports daisy chaining over an HDDB50 interface. With daisy chaining, up to (32) administrators can control up to (4096) computers. In addition, consoles can be placed up to 490 feet from the switch. Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) boosts the signal to overcome the distance between the switch and the computers. Hot-keys and On-Screen Display menus enable flexible and fast computer selection. You also get three-level password security and live upgrades over RJ-45 cabling. The switch can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack system and occupies only 1U of space.
