The QLogic QLA2340L-CK is a 2Gb/s auto-negotiating FC-PCI-X host bus adapter (HBA). This 64-bit, 133MHz, low profile board includes one external small form factor multi-mode optic LC connector. The QLA2340L uniquely integrates a RISC processor, a fibre protocol engine, and transceivers into a single, efficient FC controller chip that increases reliability and performance by lowering CPU utilization. It features automatic topology detection, concurrent support for SCSI and IP protocols, simultaneous initiator and target mode support, HBA and LUN level failover, persistent binding, LUN masking, load balancing for optimized performance, diagnostics and local and remote management.
