This card features four high-speed 16550 UART serieal ports and has a low profile universal PCI card design with built-in 32-byte FIFO bufferes to work in g 32-/64-bit, 3.3/5V PCI and PCI-X slots. One high speed 16550 UART serial port (9-pin) supports a data rate up to 230 kbps. It will work as a standard RS232 port or with 5V or 12V power output for devices that require power. In addition, it supports PME and uses SMT type crystal for improved grounding.
