This controller card supports a 1-lane (x1) 2.5Gbps PCI Express bus one way. It installs in any available PCI Express slot. The card features two external Serial ATA generation II ports with transfer rates of 3.0Gbps (300MBps). It supports RAID 0 (striping) & 1 (mirroring) for speed and data protection.

This PCI Express 1-lane (x1) SATA II adapter works with PCI Express slots with different lane width. It features integrated Serial ATA Link and PHY logic, supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ), Non-zero offsets NCQ, and Out-of-order data delivery NCQ, and offers independent command fetch, scatter/gather, and command execution. This card supports Serial ATA hard drive hot-plugging. A friendly SATARaid RAID management software utility is provided to make configuring RAID easy.
