In a four-drive system, the FastTrak TX4000 bypasses the master-slave implementation used with two-channel controller cards, resulting in improved data throughput and the flexibility of hot-swap support in a RAID 0+1 set-up when paired with Promise's SuperSwap hot-swap drive enclosure. The FastTrak TX4000 supports RAID 0, RAID 1, and RAID 0+1 configurations.
