The Hayes Optima 56K/V.90 External Modem by Zoom delivers 56K data speed, which translates to reduced line charges and increased productivity. Send more data in less time - over a megabyte a minute with throughputs up to 230,400 bit/s. The built-in security features eliminate the threat of unauthorized access to sensitive data. The modem's professional-quality messaging system provides Voice Mail and Fax-On-Demand. A single phone line can turn any remote office into a professional message center.
You can easily configure the Optima 56K from a central, or even a remote, location to standardize communications. Features such as distinctive ring and Caller ID allow you to take advantage of convenient Telco phone services. The modem's Voice/Data/Fax capabilities provide three types of communication on one phone line to help control costs. The included Fax/Data Communications software is designed with a unique point-and-click graphic interface that makes going online quick and easy. The modem supports Flash memory upgrades and synchronous and autosynchronous modes for connectivity to mainframe and minicomputers.
