The HP R3000 UPS is a high power-density solution, designed to give you power protection in space-constrained rack enterprise environments. This leading edge Uninterruptible Power System, the R3000, features the industry's first 2U, rackmount design offering up to 2700 watts of true power. The R3000 uses a unique transformer-less technology, where high performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP) controllers replace bulky transformers. Through this advanced technology, the R3000 offers several benefits including increased power efficiency and smaller foot-print with less weight. In addition, this UPS R3000 has the capability to be connected to an Extended Runtime Module (ERM, available separately).
