ProLiant Tower Storage System Model F2 - 272900-002

    The Floor Standing Tower Storage System Model F2 for the ProLiant series distributes two independent SCSI buses supporting up to (12) 1" or (8) 1.6" high hot-pluggable, Wide-Ultra SCSI-3, Fast Wide SCSI-2 or Fast-SCSI-2 hard drives. This external storage system delivers enhanced availability and serviceability features. The SCSI ID is automatically set when a drive is inserted, based on bay location. There are built-in LED status indicators and hot-pluggable, redundant cooling fans. The internal duplexing feature allows two controllers to access a single ProLiant Strorage System/F2 model. The unit comes with thermal tracking for internal temperature and fan status, and alerts administrator when the preset warning temperature is exceeded or a fan ceases to operate.
